Message: Hi there, I worked with Peter 94 to 97 doing his wonderful Raku pottery
workshops at various locations, The Bath Childrens Festivals and the
Glastonbury Festivals being the most memorable. He was such a sweet,
caring man. Also a true potting professional. My most enduring memory was
to hear his haunting penny whistle echoing around the Abbey Square of an
evening. Rain or shine he was always there. I will greatly miss him. I
hope you are playing Danny Boy to the Angels Peter.
From your dear friend Simon

Message: I am really sad to hear this! I lived in the same house that Peter had a
pottery studio in 1999, Bank House in St Columb in Cornwall. He was such
a decent and interesting bloke. The world needs more people like him.

Message: I knew Pete from Longacre Hall, Snow Hill. A very lovely man with deeply
felt convictions and a gentle manner. I didn't know him well, but we
always spoke when we met. I bought a lovely large raku bowl from him at
Green Park Station one Christmas as a gift for my wife. He refused to take
the full price and gave me an extra pot as a bonus! The bowl will be a
wonderful reminder of a truly original and talented man.
