The Bath and North East Somerset Council website contains a lot of useful info on the local area, transport and tourism. Unfortunately it doesn't contain any information about busking. You'd think it would, but it doesn't.
Other good sources of local info are the City of Bath site and the Bath site.
For some of the best street entertainment available in Bath, check out the Bizarre Bath website.
The council-run Bath Christmas Market features street performers as part of its attractions. The Bath Fringe Festival held at the end of May annually also provides some street entertainment.
For an alternative view of busking in Bath, plus Graham's poems and moose stories, check out Happy Graham's (aka Grod Groddler's) web site.
Some people who sometimes busk in Bath and have websites are:-
The Cosmic Sausages The Huckleberries Swervy World Airmusic
Percussionist George has a page under Artists and Musicians at www.keynsham-at-art.co.uk.
The web-site vocalist.org.uk contains a lot of useful information. Though aimed at singers, much of it is of interest to musicians in general, and contains info about busking in various parts of the UK.
The musical busker site has useful information of interest to buskers, particularly information about local authority licensing restrictions for buskers.
Also an interesting American site is www.thestraniero.com
For a general (mainly American) site about busking see www.buskersnetwork.org, also www.streetperformers.org run by the North American Street Performers Association.
